SF does not acknowledge RL sales unless it's at least 45% off.

i have no idea if it will be the same online but since the sale earlier in the month was both in-store and online, i don't see why not
the SA i've been working with told me about it 2 months ago
and i went in 2 weeks ago to try on some suits to see if i wanted to set any aside for pre-sale

fyi just picked up a RLBL suit for about $1077 (just under $1200 after tax in CA).

I believe the sale is just 40% not 40+15%. Also, I guess the solid vs. no solid varies by store? The one in beverly hills said solids were excluded when I was there recently.

It's every RL store that has the sale currently. When I was there for the F&F sale, they let me pre-sale my stuff already. However, I was told that it is 40% off most RLBL/RLPL, but "staples" are excluded, such as solids, etc. but pretty much any patterned/striped suit is included. I don't think there is an extra 15% kicker this time around.

Tried a couple rl stores and no RLBL suits on sale at all.

 

May just be that they carry only staples but I tried calling the men's store in manhattan.
