Sport Coat Prices & Styles - Help/Post Your Knowledge (Made-To-Measure) - Page 2

lulz at someone not having 60 minutes to research something he wants to spend close to $4k on. I'm sure the OP will absolutely love the M2M process. If he doesn't have an hour, I'd imagine he'd kill himself over the few weeks/months it takes to have M2M done correctly. Never mind the tailor-client relationship that should be forged to get anywhere near what you want.

Yea that's usually how it happens. You ask experts questions and instead of getting answers they tell you to do research yourself. I see it all the time.

Interviewer: "So Al Gore, tell us about the threat of Global Warming"

Al Gore: "Dude go read a book or do a Google search"

Interviewer: "So Obama tell us about your plans for taxes if elected in 2012"

Obama: "Why? It's already been discussed on c-span 10 times if you just spent the time watching it"

I guess you guys got me there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Round of root beer for you pathetic gentlemen.

In this bar, on this night, that guy should either buy a round or hit the road.

This guy is REALLY smart. Because POSTING ON A FORUM AND ASKING SUPPOSED EXPERTS IS NOT A FORM OF RESEARCH? ACTUALLY ITS A FORM OF PRIMARY RESEARCH, OFTEN BETTER THAN SECONDARY RESEARCH. WOW YOU'RE TOO SMART.

please do go on.

dude, people have already asked the questions and they have already been answered - nobody wants to waste their time answering them again. If you actually bothered to read Onix's posts, he was actually being helpful by giving you some direct links to other threads that answered exactly what you are asking about.

I actually answered your question and gave you advice but you ignored it and would rather fight with people. thumbs-up.gif

Benjiboo, I am a new member and I have to say that members of SF are always welcome to help, from what I've seen in many topics.

Your questions have been answered multiple times, just in this thread. Let me sump up:

*You were given 2-3 topic links that are exactly what you are asking.

*Onix demonstrated a better way to search the site, through google (which is the way I do too and I'm not an old member of SF)
*Tony Romo said that you are better off checking some high-end brands (Kiton, Brioni etc.)

Bespoke jackets might not worth the cost for entry level.

Anyway, I wrote all that just to say a general "thank you" to the SF community shog[1].gif

Wait, how did you post this if you didn't check back on this thread? Anyway, you appear to have misunderstood the purpose of this forum. We are guys who love clothes and want to get together and talk about them. We (or at least few of us) have some social point to make that involves going around evangelizing in the favor of some policy, as Al Gore does. Al Gore wants to explain stuff to you because he wants you to agree with him. We couldn't care less whether you agree with us or not, or if you get a good M2M garment or not. This forum does not exist to give "expert" advice to "novices". If anyone ever does this, it is out of the goodness of their own heart. You came here demanding a lot while giving basically nothing. You can't be too surprised nobody wanted to collect all the information already available on the forum into presenting you with all your M2M options at different price points.
