£5 on AscotShoes to buy everything and put it at extortionate prices on eBay.

To be honest, you won't find anything. There are people, like the above, who have these things cornered due to favours, bribery or whatever. I remember I once went to an EG factory sale, and walked into a little room to look at some shoes. Wow, a pair of loafers in my size for £100! Then a spiv turned round and said:

"Get off those!"
"Why?"
"They're mine!"
"Which ones?"
"All of them..."

All twenty or so boxes in different sizes. This was 2minutes into the sale...

More's the pity I can't go to John Lobb anyway as I am persona non gratis for returning something (i kid you not). The woman in charge is a pain in the arse to deal with - rude, obtuse and obstinate. Stick with EG, they were lovely to me as I was dying of a hangover from the night before in London at 9:30AM in Northampton.

Not affiliated with them, but I don't think they are bad guys...  eBay is charging exuberant fees on final values, driving the all eBay business very expensive to operate.

Why don't they limit transactions to a certain amount of items per person?

Don't think they are running an retail operation but just to get rid of overstocks...

I will love to pick up some decent prestige lines like St Crepin, Winchester or even possibly Hampstead.

I have just been told that the following John Lobb lines will be in the sale  Arima, Lopez, Lynton and the Finedon.

There might be some more lines added before Saturday sales begin but this information is accurate as of this morning.

regards,

Greasymonkey

i still intend to call them on Friday just to be rest assured nothing more has been added as i will blame myself if otherwise.

I need a decent shoe for christmas and having a J Lobb would not be a bad idea at all.

I drove over there this morning and arrived at 9.30. As I turned into the street I was greeted by the sight of at least 100 people (majority Japanese) waiting outside to enter. They were even queueing on the other side of the road. If you have ever been in the factory shop you will know it is tiny so it was going to take ages for all these people to get in.

Needless to say I drove straight on. I like shoes but I am not that desperate that I was going to give up my Saturday waiting in line.
