Anyone have any experience with Ed Et Al shoes from Singapore?

Just stumbled on the site yesterday. edetal.sg

The RTW looks pretty good at the $200 price point. I'm thinking about giving them a try - I can use the shoes as beaters at the very least. On the other hand I could put that money to a better pair of shoes. I've included a couple of pics.

If you own a pair let me know where they fit on the quality spectrum and how they are wearing.

I own a pair of Ed's shoes (custom grade) and think they are absolutely fantastic value for $$. The RTW range clearly isn't meant to be Vass killers, but the quality is excellent given Ed's pricepoints. Leather quality isn't far off from my C&J benchgrades, and the stitches are very neatly done too. I'm pretty sure Ed also hand finishes his shoes, even the RTW stuff.. He also did a fantastic job recrafting an old pair of shoes with a closed channel stitch.

Saw a few pairs of Springline lasts at the launch party 2 weeks back, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished bespoke products!

Come summer, he's going to take all my hard earned $$ frown.gif

Their RTW line fits seem to run quite slim, not recommended for slightly wide feet.

No experience with them. I've seen Sifr, which has some attractive Indonesian-made chukkas w/ (I believe) a goodyear welt, though I thought they were a bit pricey.

I echo what gshen said having owned Ed's shoes as well as a pair of CJ bench grade. I haven't worn the Ed shoes I have yet, but they look great for the price. I am already looking forward to the next collection which will have shoes with sleeker lasts as well as more casual shoes.

Missileblitz, do you own a pair?  I'm a US. 11E. And am looking at Ed's size 45...the measurements imply US E width, but I'm concerned based on your comment.  They've offered a 46, perhaps based on feedback from this forum, but I worry about length in that case.  Any advice?
