Is Thomas Pink considered quality?

I'm mainly asking with regard to their dress shirts (slim fit) and their suits.

they are pretty decent for jermyn street, but they are not exactly the highest quality when compared to charvet and some of the other brands.

I also think, for what they are, they are overpriced.

ive only handled a few personally. like quad said, they are good shirts for sure but not top shelf.

I've never tried their black label "Imperial" line, but I have a few of the regular line and they are way overpriced IMO. At least in the regular line that retails for $160 or so they don't pattern-match the sleeves to the shoulder so be wary of purchasing a stripe or check pattern. In that price range I'd much rather have a shirt by a maker that will match the sleeves to the shoulder such as Hilditch & Key or Eton. Pink's regular line is nicer than a Tyrwhitt shirt but certainly not for 3x the price. Not a bad buy on clearance though, and I have a set of PJs from them that are very nice. Just my $0.02.

Good shirts, but overpriced at retail. I believe the consensus is that they would be a decent value if they were in the $50-$80 range, but at $150-$200, you're better off with a quality MTM or waiting for discounted shirts from some of the very high quality shirt makers.

Always thought their stuff was online with TM Lewin or Charles Tyrwhitt while being almost twice the price sometimes.

There was a time not so long where Thomas Pink provided excellent value for money. But ever since they expanded their retail base & increased the number of licensees to their manufacture products, things began to go down hill. It's approaching near a decade since this demise in value became a factor for their traditional client base.

Whilst their shirts are considerably better in quality terms than say TM Lewin, as earlier posters have alluded they cost several times more so there is no value for money unless bought in their sales.

You are better off with T&A or a few doors down and a little dearer, Emma Willis.

Personally, I've had no issues with PINK shirts. I have several of them. A few friends of mine complained that their collars, collar points and cuffs wore out too fast but I don't know whether this was due to their construction, their wearring habits or a dry cleaners press. I baby mine by hand washing and ironing them myself and they are fine. As far as price is concerned, they may be over-priced than some brands but less overpriced than others.
As for PINK suits, I have no experience with them at all.

I think if you're picking Pink over Lewin and Tyrwhitt you're doing so based on style or some specific fabric or whatever's available that tickles your fancy.

Not really seeing a whole lot of justification for their prices, to be honest - I wouldn't buy them at full retail, just not worth it.

I do have a Superfine 200's that's really nice, but it's almost like tissue paper, almost doesn't get worn because of that.

I find them slightly nicer all the way round. Slightly nicer materials and construction perhaps slightly better, but in total, nothing at all dramatic.

PINK has marginally better fabrics and choice than TM Lewin for example, construction is pretty much the same. TM Lewin shirts usually retail for £25 and Pink is usually £75+

Pink shirts are only worth it during christmas when the non-solid colors are 50% off.

To say they are worth about $70 per shirt is to put them in the same category as BB or BR. Seriously??? I agree the materials don't match $300 shirts. However, the one I have I would wear over many high end shirts. The fit, drape of the shirt and collar all look really great. No, they are not a high end shirt, but not a low end shirt either. Also, as said can be found on sale occasionally for half price. Definitely buy one at this price.

I find the fabric similar to ctshirts and lewin with a better fit

Yeah, but who actually pays full price for shirts from BB or Banana? I would think that most people that know what they're doing pay less than $70/shirt from those stores.
