Hi everyone,
obviously i'm new to the site. I was a frequenter of purseblog, but decided to move on after some rather unfortunate events. over there they are more about accessories, footwear, etc which i like as those are items that can take an outfit from mediocre to stellar. generally speaking i wear a skinny jean, blazer, button down, scarf, and a moc. i'm hoping this site will be my new home. in the follow paragraphs i will explain a little more about my style...
i joined tpf about two years ago as my love for vuitton was beginning to flourish. during that time, i began to dislike the brand, mainly due to their customer service and waning quality. then i crossed over to the "orange side" as it was affectionately dubbed by the hermes frequenters. i absolutely adore hermes! so for the last year, i've been stuck pretty hard on them, although i find their prices a bit too steep to purchase as often as i like. i also made a small detour over to goyard for a couple of their bags. i'm not sure if you all picked up on this, but i love bags and accessories!
style wise, i love jeans! My favorite jeans maker was, and still is to a certain extent, versace. i have an inexplicable affinity for the brand despite it being quite ostentatious. maybe it's the medusa head that i love, idk. in 09 i found a pair of black skinny jeans from naked and famous and fell head over heels in love with them; i now have 5 pair of that one jean. shirt wise, i tend to skimp and buy cheaper button down shirts, typically white or black, and will buy more expensive shirts in different colors or styles. the same goes for other clothing items..i typically skimp, but will occasionally buy something more expensive if i like it. in regards to shoes, i like gucci moccasins, i'm planning on adding a pair of their python's to my collection in the very near future. actually, that's how i found this site. i was browsing ferragamo looking to get a rough idea of how their shoes stack against gucci (in style, quality, construction, and price) and i happened to stumble across this site. as i mentioned earlier i like hermes, so i have a couple of their scarves and i'm saving for a HAC...one of my dream bags (along with the 45 bolide) from the brand.
well i hope this site works out for me, it will be nice to have a greater male audience with which to field questions and bounce ideas..
