I have these on my bit loafers and I was curious if there's anything I can do to reduce the severity?

Oh, you mean signs that you actually WEAR your shoes?

some have advocated wrinkle facial creams, some have favored shoe tree.

I say either don't wear the loafers, or avoid bending toes when walking (i.e., just shuffle along)

Best of luck.

Thanks. Now anyone else with an non-idiotic response to my question?

Those puckers are simply a part of the style of the shoe. There is nothing special you can or should do about them.

Simply follow the basics of shoe care, including shoe trees, to keep the shoes in good condition.

Those Moccasins have a tendency to look like this due to the method of construction. Other slip on shoes do not. So it's always wise if this bothers you to look through a number of pairs to find the one with the least amount of this effect.

The wrinkles exist on the pictures shoes, which are new and unworn. If the new, unworn shoes have creases, don't you think shoes that are actually worn will develop creases?
