ah, i'm not to familiar with Canon bodies, but the 60D looks like the d7000 rival. (which i want!) I'm a little confused because i know my friend had a 10D and it was full frame, so what happened between then and now to make them switch the series over to APS-C sensors?

It seems alot of pros are using the 5D mkII, which i can't blame them for the price! I'd definately switch over if i found a good deal. I'm still using a d40 i've had since they came out

It shoots well, but those menus kill me for photoshoots.

^Your friend may have had a 1D, not a 10D.

I grabbed a D700 body + 50mm f1.4 lens.

The biggest difference is the D700's low light capabilities.
