Shots from my trip to Italy last summer. This is the view from my bedroom in my aunt and uncle's villa. Basilica of St. Francis in Assissi. Seeing this (Raphael's 'School of Athens') was so surreal. It's a masterpiece. What's the name of this villa? I forget. It's right outside of Rome. Myself and the little cuz. I found this in some alleyway in Rome. Made me chuckle.

That first picture looks kind of apocalyptic in my opinion, who. Nice pictures. That observatory looks pretty dope. I've always wanted to go to one but I don't know if there's any worth while ones in Oregon.

Ashtnn, don't know of any observatories in OR that are set up for the public like Griffith, but I'm sure they'd let people in if you called and ask. Thanks for the compliments. That's definitely the Griffith fire. Here's an idea of how close it came to some houses... The green patch in the middle is one of the golf courses.

Everything taken in lower or artificial light comes out extremely grainy with my camera (a Nikon F2). Anyone have any tips? Maybe I should stop being lazy and clean it?

Wayfarer, you have a Nikon F2? Wow.

Umm, the graininess is probably a result of you using high-speed films. Are you using ISO above 800? That's going to cause a lot of graininess and will be especially noticeable in low light because noise is more apparent on dark areas.
