Over the xmas break. These are actually from three different trips in 2004, 2006 and last winter. The statues shown here are in Kobe, Nara and Okinawa.

I saw what had to have been a giant ass Albatross or Osprey something fly out of the top of that tower at the Marina once. Scared the bejeezus out of me. Looked like it had easily a six or seven foot wingspan.

I've seen some massive seagulls too. And I got asked no less than 4 times by tourists to take their picture in front of that fountain while setting up my shot. More from the Mamiya:

Shot with a Nikon F2 with a Nikkor O 35/2 lens with Ilford HP5 pushed to 1600 iso.

Taken at 9:30 pm roughly.

Printed on Ilford Multigrade IV 5x7 RC glossy paper with a Devere 504 enlarger with a Nikkor 50/2.8 enlarger lens.
