Nice chelsea boots for under $300?

Hi, I'm trying to find a pair of cheap black chelsea boots. Does anyone know any shoemakers that I could try to find some? Thanks.

RM Williams makes some of the best chelsea boots and should be close to $300.

I would second RM Williams. Look for Australian dealers online and you should be able to hit that price range.

 

There is also the Blundstone 060 series, which IMO is acceptable in many situations stylewise, but are probably not SF-approved.

Would recommend http://www.bootsonline.com.au/ for buying RM Williams online. Have some dark brown suede chisel shape, Comfort Craftsman, and I'm very pleased.

Under $300? Peal is $500 but they usually go on sale sometimes and are about $275
