Subway and Public Transportation Etiquette - The People We Encounter - Page 58

Ultimately, the story isn't about one man's erection; it's about another man's failure to immortalize it.

discreet picture take fail. Work on this shit!!

having said that, the effort is very much appreciated.

The problem is that all phones here make a very loud shutter sound that can't be disabled (to prevent just such an endeavor). iPads, however, do not. So perhaps I shall switch to that.

Now what would be really great is some security footage of me making the attempt, getting caught, and running away.

Another thing that bothers me and I'm not totally sure why, but people who run up the stairs two or three at a time. Fucking annoying.

sometimes I do this because everybody around me is doing it and I feel the social pressure.

I hate doing it, though. I trip enough on stairs as is.

That's just it, there's not much point to it besides making people feel rushed. Fuck that, I take my time, also not getting a crotch blowout is priority over douchey teenagers running up the stairs.

Walking one stair at a time doesn't mean crawl, you asshole.

My cab driver today had an extra thumb. I touched it when he handed me my change.

I walk and climb at a very brisk pace, faster than most around me in fact. But I don't sprint up the stairs.

I walk very fast always. I can't stand people who walk on subway platforms like they are palsied

Come to Tokyo, it's insane how slowly people walk here.
the worst is not necessarily the slow walkers - it's those who use the entry turstyle as their personal table while they rifle through their purses to find a metrocard. Block that turnstyle from my entrance, especially as a train is stopping, and be prepared for me to voice my discontent (which I have done).

I hate those people.

There's no excuse for that bullshit. Everyone who goes down those stairs knows that they will need to pay to get to the platform. HAVE YOUR SHIT READY MOTHERFUCKER.
