I'm cool with buskers...sometimes they really are quite good and it can be a nice interlude while you wait around

I don't think they should be allowed to use electricity though...a bad rapper is easy enough to ignore, but when he has a microphone and a backing track playing through an amp, it I'd not acceptable. Ditto for the guitar guy who decided not to play acoustic

Seems like it would be simple enough to enforce (either cover the outlets or have someone come down and say "stop using our electricity") and playing a battery powered boombox is already banned on the train...just apply the same rule to the platform.

Ok, so you know those extremely grotesque homeless people? Well yesterday I was walking up the subway stairs and there was one of these men standing midway between the street and the platform. Well, you also know those gusts of wind that fly down subway stairs and blow wind in your face as you exit to the street? I think you see where this is going. This man's Pigpen-like dust cloud wafts right into my face as I am walking up the stairs and I got a whiff of everything putrid that exists in this world all at once. I had a vision of everything wrong in the world that has ever happened and I died for a second or two. Just wanted to share.

I don't mind seeing anything. But to have ones particles enter my nose is an entirely different experience. LEt's just say I could have used some of you...

I was walking out of the subway one time and a couple of people ahead of me suddenly stopped and turned and walked back towards me. I had no idea why until I rounded a corner to a full frontal view of some homeless guy urinating on the stairs leading out of the subway.

I live in NYC and the only time I have seen a homeless person's penis is in Paris, France.
