Tommy Nutter Vicuna Overcoat

Hello and apologies for the rude arrival.

 

A relative who has fallen on hard times has asked me to help them sell the above item.

It is a double breasted, vicuna overcoat in charcoal grey.

 

This was made for my cousin by Tommy in 1974 and is numbered as the 964th item sold by him.

 

I am not necessarily looking to sell it to someone on this forum, just for an idea as to how I might sell it for a realistic value. I am not making anything from this either.

Could you add photographs? The condition of the coat aside, there's a notable berth in value for collectors and fans between the conservative Nutter's of Savile Row-made stuff and their more memorable flamboyant innovations

Its great how he wanted to sell it but hasn't been back since photos were asked for. Basically he wanted someone to say "Sight unseen, its worth 1K, ill give you 1200 to lock it down," and then for a second poster to say "No, no matter what it looks like, I want it, ill pay 1500."

i just want to ad that i have a very similar coat. it is numbered as the first one ever made. i can tell it is very valuable. i am selling it only because i want to cure sick kittens. how much thousands of dollars can sell it for?
