I cannot find that post, but in searching for it, I found rave reviews of the Khatadin. Both are about the same price point. The Khatadin seems more rugged, outdoorsy, and less appropriate for going to the movies etc. Does anyone have experience with either of these? I want a pair of knock around boots that i could wear outside to do stuff, but also wear with jeans to go to the movies and stuff on weekends in the slushy winter. I kind of prefer the ruggedness of the Khatadin, but wonder if it is too rugged for my purposes.
