I can get a pair of desert boots in Beeswax on Amazon for $72, which after reading some of the posts here appears to be a good deal. But I'm a little concerned about sizing.

I tried on some of the bushacre 2's at a store and found that size 9.5 fits comfortable (if a bit loose) while size 9 fits a little tight to the point of being slightly uncomfortable.

So my question is will the size 9 boots stretch at all and form to my foot better? Or should I order 9.5 since its more comfortable from the start?

I got a pair of desert boots the other day and the left pair is really hurting the top of my foot when I walk. The right pair feels fine. What's the deal with this ?

Same exact thing for me haha. Mine have broken in and I'm happy now. It will go away just tough it out.

get the 9s. hell, if you're a TTS 9.5, get the 8.5s.

Get the 9 man. After about 3-4 wears with maybe alittle hurt, they'll fit great.

How did you manage to find them on Amazon by the way? Anytime Ive tried to check them they only have (B)M sizing, which are the women's version I believe.

Idk, I just googled "Clarks Desert Boots Amazon" and it showed up.

Here's a link for you:

http://www.amazon.com/Clarks-Originals-Mens-Desert-Boot/dp/B0007MCUTK?tag=613240924-20

And if you sign up for Amazon's fashion news emails, you get 20% your next shoe purchase. So it brings the price down to $72.

Here's the link to the shoe promotion:

http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=5637565011

As a side note, I got the beeswax DBs yesterday and they look great but I'd like them to be darker. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should use to make them darker brown?

Tried a pair of these on at the rack in my normal boot size.  Fit was fine but my heel was slipping out.  Seems like these need an extra eyelet for the laces or are they suppossed to be like that?
