Clarks Desert Boots - Page 420

does the beeswax stain easily if you don't treat it with something?

When I first got it, it did not stain. But as I kept on wearing it, the leather obviously started drying out. Water spills didn't really stain it much, while alcohol spills stained it the most. I tried getting the stains out with a damp towel, but I ended up just applying some Obenauf's LP which darkened the leather anyways.

Just to let you guys know that Amazon has the Clarks Desert Boots on sale. Maybe mentioned prior but I think it is a pretty good deal.

Observation: I took a look at the reviews of Clarks Desert Boots on zappos. Glowing reviews all around but I noticed that a large majority of the reviewers were women. Maybe it is a good thing because the boots are female approved.

They claim they're on sale, but it looks like regular Amazon prices to me.

Perhaps at least one of the colors has dropped though.  Easy to verify.  Just search the product name and color on camel.

Whoa. What is this magic?! Thanks for pointing me to camelcamelcamel! You are right, they are just regular "Amazon" prices.

Anyone with size 9 or 9.5 clarks desert boots, would ya be able to measure the bottom length of the sole for me please?  That way i can compare it with the length of my Vans which fit me perfect.  Many shops in my area dont have much sizes left for the clarks desert boots, so probably best for me to order online.  Thanks in advance!

Hey, I bought a few motnhs ago a pair of DB (beeswack).

Anyway, I'm going to Norway (Trondheim to be more specific) from next week to June and I'm wondering if these shoes will fit the weather. I read all kind of stuff, from "WATCHOUT IT4S THE END OF THE WORLD OUT THERE" to "don't sweat it, it's gonna be fine".

Anyone has actual experience with these boots ?

Thanks.

Not sure why but Amazon doesn't have the 7 and 7.5 in stock for beeswax :( anyone know where else I can get those sizes for the beeswax? I tried on a 8 in store and it was tad bit too loose. I'm guessing either 7.5 or 7 will fit me.

I don't have my desert boots anymore, but I had a pair in size 9.5 and I wear a size 10 in vans.

I wear size 9.5 in vans, and it fits me perfectly snug but perfect fit.  I guess i should get size 9 in desert boots?  I just dont want the shoes look  huge, dont like clown feet and want the perfect fit.

If someone has either size 9 or 9.5 in desert boots if can measure the length for me would be greatly appreciated thanks

I have a pair of 9.5 CDB, I normally wear size 10-10.5 depending on the brand.  I just measured from the back of the heel above the sole to the front of the toe above the sole like so:

~11.5 inches.
