Clarks Desert Boots - Page 359

You might consider using some of the Bickmore products, like Bick 4, to clean your boots:

I bought some cowboy boots at Sheplers and that's what they recommend. They said you can use it to clean pretty much anything.

I googled how to clean beeswax and cleaned them that way. I bought some cleaning product from the store I got the clarks from. Works fine. It's not mink oil or whatever the other guys use. It did it's job.

Does anyone know why exactly they don't sell beeswax db's outside the US/Canada? I really want some, but can't be bothered spending £80 + whatever customs decide to take to get them sent over to the UK. Unpredictable weather here ruined my suede ones, and don't like the look of the other leather versions. Cheers!

Where can I find the discontinued Desert Cougar in suede?

I haven't looked through this entire thread yet but I was wondering if I can wear my new taupe suede DBs with shorts? I typically wear lighter colored linen shorts. What does everyone think about this?

anyone else wear their DBs yesterday in memory?

Picked up my first pair of DB yesterday. Taupe Suede, except its a harder suede, not as soft as the typical suede.

i like the sands and how they darken and look better with wear. I think they are more neutral. oakwood was too yellow for me. I find the sands more versatile. As for another color? a dark brown or black maybe, but I don't like the standard black clarks db that much, with the blacked out sole. These (http://www.davidz.com/products2.cfm/...te-Black-Boot/) however, I like. And now back in stock in my size....

Anyone know why the normstrom rack shoes don't have originals written in the soles, and have clarks stamped in the bottom of them?

Can anyone answer this?

I didn't know until today. I'll wear a pair tomorrow and yes, a very good excuse for a new pair!
