Hmm. I have a pair in navy leather, sized 9, for sale. PM me, I'll give you a good price. Bought it off another SF user, Harbin, but barely used it due to the toefreezing temperatures of Edmonton, Canada.
And now it's going to be summer, where I will dress in no shirt + pink shorts + no shoes.
Would it look alright to wear a taupe suede dbs with khakis with colors little lighter than the dbs, with a white dress shirt, and a navy blazer?
Or should I go with darker shoes?
I know sizing is always a question when it comes to Clarks DBs, but I just want to get a definitive answer before placing my order: do you guys generally size down half a size, or a full size?
I've read reports all over the place. I'm a 9.5D on the Brannock device, 42 CP, if that's of any use to anyone.
That definitely does not help. Now I have three conflicting pieces of information. What to do!
I am a true measured 10.5, but I have wider than average feet. A 10.5 in Clarks is too long but perfect widthwise. Sizing down to 10 gives me the perfect length but it's pretty tight widthwise. Ended up going for a size 10 because it stretches out. So basically Clarks do run about a half size too big lengthwise, but they are also a little on the narrow side so you'll have to decide if you want to size down 1/2 and stretch it out or go true to size and settle for something looser.
