No need imo, they aren't dress shoes or anything and they look great when beat up.

So I searched the thread and couldn't find mention of these anywhere, but I came across these Clarks Monks in-store the other day. http://www.clarks.co.jp/Mens/Originals_20341462.shtml Really not quite sure what to think. I think I like them, but certainly don't like the over $200 price tag.

The look like Desert boots with a buckle awkwardly glued on. Terrible IMO

How about these in mink suede? The color looks nice imho.

Thought i would share my rubber sole beeswax after ~ 4months of wear. It gathered a little patina near the toe, which was purely accidental.

did you paint those or something? they're very dark.

I believe it was mentioned earlier in this thread that the rubber sole beeswax is darker than the crepe sole version. I did apply a layer of mink oil when I first got it.

where do you find rubber sole beeswax clarks?

I've never seen them in the UK, but a search for clarks bushacre on ebay will bring up US sellers.

Has anybody changed laces on black suede Desert Boots? I'm thinking about it but would be curious to see what it looks like before I buy laces.

to what color? I changed the laces on my dark brown DBs from dark brown to navy and now to tan. They looked very sharp with both.
