not a fan of the throbbing penis vein Clarks. Its a simple boot thats why it works. Put hippy frills or throbbing penis veins on and you're trying too hard.

It looks like a pretty basic moccasin detail to me

That's how they attached the part with the laces on it, rather than extending it all the way down to the sole.
It seems to me that DB's are the one's with the extraneous material...

The same thing is all over Sperrys and various other mocassin style boots
And as for the sole, it looks exactly the same to me minus the chunk missing between the heel and the toe.

I don't think those minor differences would detract as much when worn as you're imagining it would.

You've posted three different pictures of essentially the same boot and you're the only one who seems to like them so far. They're ugly AND look like old man orthopaedics. But by all means, please go ahead and purchase a pair if you like them so much.

Off topic, but I've decided to pretty much put aside my DBs until winter is over. My go-to boot while the weather's cold and sloppy is going to be my old 14-eyehole vintage Made in England brown leather Doc Martens boots, purchased circa 1994. Forgot how warm these suckers are. And they still look good! Need a fresh app of mink oil though.

haha Im the opposite: ive stopped wearing my Redwing GTs for the Clarks. But once it snows a little Ill put the GTs back on.

Haha, AND I had never seen them before I posted that.
I don't really want them, and I couldn't get them without a proxy, I was first just illustrating that Clarks are more widely available in more styles there than they are here, when that guy was saying he couldn't find them in the UK.
And then I just couldn't understand what all the hate was for, so why not discuss?

I'm so sorry officer, I won't **** with the internet police ever again!
