actually you can go right across the lake to the east side, to bellevue square. they have a clark's store there.

endless.com also had the desert boots for $60 USD for a while, but now it's gone, sadly.

Interestingly enough, these boots are also next on my to-buy list, and I'll be getting brown to wear with some jeans.

However, do any other companies make a similarly cut boot in other colors? I saw a john varvatos one in one of the threads on this forum while searching and it looked pretty nice.

Would the brown suede boots be okay if they are coupled with some trousers in a more serious environment? (interning at an office) How's the comfort on these... any other pictures with them on other than the ones only on page 3? Interested to see how these would look with trousers... It's advisable to go a half-size down with these, correct? Thanks

It depends on the office but I'd say they may be too casual. I have a pair of the sand suede and the construction and lack of structure makes them look very casual. I don't think I'd wear them with any kind of pants other than jeans or casual linen pants. Brown suede probably wouldn't be as casual but would still be pushing it.

Can anyone post pics of these badboys in action? I have been interested in a pair for awhile but I would like to see a couple of pics of them being worn before I buy.

Thanks in advance

I apologize for stealing this lovely picture from CMF on superfuture. Sufu was going slow, or my internet was, so I didn't feel like delving into the WAYWT thread over there. More (And more apologies to whoever took these photos):

Copped these a couple of months ago in my true size and they fit perfectly. Quite comfy and my feet weren't sore at all after an eight-hour shift of unloading boxes of denim and stocking shelves. The soles get rather nasty after a while from all the places I've taken them, but I suppose that's the crepe and the same would have happened with the Clarks.

Hey I love my clarks, my crepe heels are about shot though, any idea if these can be resoled?

Buy some crepe rubber and glue that shit on, or get some latex glue and keep adding coats.

According to this website, http://www.greenshoes.co.uk/solingresoling.php , you can resole crepe. Other shoe repair websites also list prices for crepe resoling, so it seems like it's a do-able task.
