DSW had a bunch of suede colors in the bushacre... leather felt nice but the only problem is that in person, that bushacre sole feels like crap vs the awesome soft and squishy feeling of crepe (and the fact that even though they were not real DBs and were being sold at DSW...they were still $64)

These boots aren't going to keep all the snow out so don't wear it in snow. You can waterproof the suede with something like Sno seal and you can use Obenaufs LP on the leather ones, Still it's never good to wear suede in wet conditions.

the glue that attaches the sole to the body is starting to come off of my dbs, is there any way to repair this?

Yes, with glue. I use Gorilla superglue for this kind of simple repair.

I've had my DB's for ~6 months and love them. Wear them at least a few times a week, with jeans or khakis. Comfortable and look great.
