Soap and water, but they will never look new again. Resist the OCD.

Resist the OCD.

They only look new when they're in the box. Soon as you slip them on they start to look worn. That's kind of life, no?

The song is Sweet Virginia by Beck

Im not trying to get the top of them clean, but the soles are so wore and are so rough that the sand and dirt just sits in in the crevices.Oh well, maybe its time for a new pair.

Well, half right... . Beck covered it. But it's by the Stones and was released on their 1972 album Exile on Main St.

Anyway... Why are you worried about the sand and grit in the soles? It can't be that noticeable, can it?

by Beck! come on man. thank you for your wine, california! exile is a classic. check out the documentary on netflix instant, it's pretty solid (nothing truly extraordinary or revelatory, just cool footage of the stones then and now).

What would go better with dark denim...and versatility in general..

Clarks Desert boots in Sand/Suede or Oakwood/Suede?
I'd vote for Oakwood... slightly darker than the Sand which I think adds a lot to versatility. Not to mention it's more unique as every mall store now carries the basic Sand, Brown, and Beeswax.

Yeah I was kind of leaning that way too..that being said its impossible to find 9.5's in oakwood anywhere that'll ship to Canada ;(
