If someone can hook me up with this I would really appreciate it.

I sign up for the newsletter, but I never get it for some reason.

How well do the Clarks Desert boots handle Snow/Ice? I hope they are better for that than chucks. I've just ordered US10.5 in grey distressed, Hopefully it's the right size for me. I'm a UK10 in C&J and my Chucks are marked as UK size 11 and US size 11 (weird...)

They make GREAT winter boots. The thin leather upper wraps your feet in warmth. The two-eyelet, floppy ankles protect you from any incoming snow. And the natural rubber crepe sole is like a forcefield from moisture. These boots were made for snow.

Yes, that's why they're called desert boots. Since they're suede they will look terrible quite fast in salty slush. edit: and the crepe sole has no grip on icy surfaces.

Nonsense.

I wear mine down at the beach all the time.

Wore mine all winter through snow, ice, rain. Now wearing them all summer. Sometimes I'll go sockless with them, depending on the venue and what else I'm wearing.
