I sized down half a size from my Chucks to my desert boots and they fit too tight around the toe area, so I would go with the same size as Chucks, but there's no way to know for sure. Seems it's a pretty mixed bag with all the previous posts.

I tried these on in the store and a 9.5 fits me just right while I fit in a 10 in chucks.

Just ordered my second pair in two months. I got the grey leather last month in 11s, which are great but about 1/2 size too big. My Converse size is 11, and I can wear the Treks in 11. The boots just do seem to run larger. Today I ordered the brown suede in 10.5. Should be here tomorrow morning if Zappos is up to their usual lightning fast service (how the hell do they do it!?). I also ordered some classic brown Sperry Topsiders. For all that they seem to either be loved or hated, I decided I had to get a pair. Here's the reason: My wife made me change into sandals when we went to dinner the other night because I was wearing a summer linen shirt and she claims shoes can't be worn with a linen shirt! I'm all like wtf inside but of course say Yes, Dear, and change. But I hate exposing my toes in a restaurant. I asked her what an alternative to sandals might be and she said Sperry's without socks. So... I'm never going to be in sandals in a restaurant again! I'm also on the Zappos waiting list for a pair of Converse Jack Purcells in my size.

The Banana Republic Desert Boots are now down to a ridiculous $39.99 and all sizes and colors are left. I just got the Beexwax, and it runs about a 1/2 size large as people say. http://www.bananarepublic.com/browse...d=524763&vid=1

FWIW, I did the same thing and the coupon I received was a $15 off a $75+ order. I ordered two pair, the sand suede and beeswax, so it probably works out to about the same discount.

Edit: Actually the website won't let me do it, maybe because it's sale pricing?
