Dress shirt with shorts with what kind of shoes?

Dress shirt rolled up sleeves and plain white colored shorts. What is a good option for shoes?

Are you referring to a true dress shirt or a sport shirt?

With a proper fitting pair of shorts, it would look really sharp with almost any pair of shoes you would wear with pants, ie 'bucks, brogues, plain toes, etc.

With a sport shirt with shorts, I've worn them with work boots such as the Indy's and I liked the outcome.

From the first post and the context of the question I'm guessing he means sport shirt. This is a really young guy trying to wear something a little nicer than a graphic tee or polo, so let's avoid the super-fashion-forward advice.
