Home improvement items that make your house "luxurious"

Thread Starter
I am the owner of a house, and I am working on a few different design areas. My goal is to have a different theme for each room...a "hotel bathroom", downstairs bar with theme, etc... In general, I am a huge fan of home improvement and just "wowing" people (and myself) with different items. My buddy is putting in a 2 person superman hottub with mirrors on the ceiling...ideas like that.

I am looking for different items people have that make their house more "rich" looking, "baller"/"pimp" if you will...anything from cabinet hardware to crazy/out of the ordinary rooms, etc. I recently saw on TV a local house that turned their basement into Bourbon Street.

I would love to see some pics of interesting design/ideas, and specific products, and links if they're available for purchase. I know there has to be some avid home designers out there.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You cannot call your abode luxurious until you have whale foreskin bar stools in your home's hostelry. Now if you excuse me I have to use my solid gold "facilities." A

Definitely need more than one of those, otherwise you might as well get married.

I think a battery of surface to air missiles around the property would make a house more "rich" looking.
