Ok here's the situation - My wife accidentally washed and dryed my black wool slacks yesterday which of course caused them to shrink - don't blame her, I left them in the wrong laundry pile  
Anyways - I now need to purchase a new pair of black trousers and am looking for some suggestions. The pair that I am replacing where pleated and cuffed, however I am considering going with flat-front this time and in that case, I am assuming that they should not be cuffed. I also do not really want to pay more than $100, if that, for a new pair of pants. I was thinking of looking at stores like Banana Republic, Express for Men. I'm in Phoenix, AZ, so I've got lots of other choices, including outlets such as Nordstroms Rack and Off 5th as well as all the high priced department stores and lots of boutiques. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Bradford P.S. I'm 6'3", 180 lbs with a 33-34 inch waist and a 34-inch inseam.

.  Well, since you're in Phoenix, you could probably go without wool.  Of course, you don't have to.  But if you do decide you'd prefer another fabric, I highly suggest Kenneth Cole.  I bought a black pair of his flat-front "stretch" (polyester, rayon, spandex) pants a little over a year ago.  They're very comfortable and look really sharp.  They were about $70, if I remember correctly.  And they handle water much better than wool
