Are ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA suits running big?

What do you think of this ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA suit? Authentic? The last picture says Made in Switzland. Thanks.

dont know if they are running big, not ime anyway. hard to tell if authentic, the only thing that looks a bit off to me is the stitching around the label. the rest seems fine.

btw no need to yell.

It's a drop 7 Roma. Big? If you're narrow across the shoulder.

I bought a D&G years ago, but it ran very slim and tight. That is why I ask if EZ runs big or small.

The white tag should have a ordine est (serial) number. This is its RN# and will tell you where the jacket was made, albeit it may not authenticate it.

Type the number in here: https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/textilern/wrnquery$.startup

EDIT: I looked it up for you: RN15954 Legal name: CHARLESTON HOS PROCNG CO INC Company: CHARLESTON HOS PROCNG CO INC.

Doesn't sound like Zegna (HOS = hospital???), but I do not know whom they commission to make their suits.

That's usually the importing company I believe. RN numbers can be helpful or they can be inscrutable or, at worst, misleading.

FWIW from what I can see that looks authentic. Other than labels sewn onto something else on Ebay, I've never seen fake Zegna tailored stuff.

Ah, that sounds right. Usually I have fair luck with these; the number will either lead directly to the company (esp. something cheap, like Van Heusen) or to something traceable (for example, Trimil Corporation can be easily traced to Armani).

Sometimes, though, I'll discover something (such as Charleston Hos.) which seems to not exist. This drives me crazy! XD :P

Is EZ normally slim and tight?

It's the Roma block (i.e. see FIT ROM on the inside tag), which is your traditional strong-shouldered, conservatively-cut model, and the one they claim to be phasing out.

So the answer is: No.

This suit is not slim.

Try Z Zegna suits or a Zegna suit in the Milano block (FIT MILAN) for a slimmer fit.
