Complete (hopefully) leather gloves details thread

I know they are multiple thread out there about leather gloves, but it is discussed in them few things other than leather or bespoke vs rtw, so for winter's sake, I created this thread.

Which details make gloves more elegant/casual? Do the three "points" in the back give them a more classic look than a smooth back or is it just a matter of personal preference? What about length? Thumb styles? Quirks?

Other than weather, what should define your choice of lining (or no lining at all)? Occasion (casual vs dress), durability, or again just personal preference?

Finally, can someone shed some light on the differences in the most common leathers and which are the better ones? I mean the stuff between peccary and cowhide.

Your savvy comments are greatly appreciated.

For the Winter:

Quilted Leather Gloves Lined in Rabbit Fur - looks classy, soft and warm interior. Fits with hunting jackets, some down jackets, and leather jackets quite nicely.

That is what I think is the best, a buckle on the wrist would be a nice added touch.

Penis skin gloves tend to be the softest and have the best "feel".

That is if there is any left over after commissioning the wallet.

No I'm pretty sure he is speaking about the penis of a cow, or maybe even a horse. As you can probably imagine, its such a small amount of skin that they usually end up as wallets before anyone has a chance to make gloves.
