I don't know if Zegna has a season code or not- usually manufacturers don't include dates on the tags.

Designers often purposefully abandon certain details that others wouldn't dare. My mom's Mercedes doesn't have cup holders. My dad has shoes called "loafers" which had no strings enclosed in the box, nor any holes to draw your own strings through. How do they stay on his feet?

I have a Tom Ford era 3-button Gucci suit where 8 buttons have Gucci engraved and one just plain doesn't ( I suspect the cleaners may be involved). It doesn't mean its fake. These are just the curious choices people make

True, but sometimes there is so much padstitching that you would ruin the felt trying to separate the two (in the cases I've seen there were many rows of overlock machine stitching). I've also seen a linen interlining with wool felted to either side of it, in which case the whole thing has to go.

If the felt underlining was such a must-have why didn't you ask about it in the first place???????

Thank your lucky stars.............99% of sellers would not give you a refund for something like this.

I think OP is saying he got a refund on the Brioni, not this Gucci.
