Jerry Garcia Ties

Any of you have any? I have one that I wear all of the time (the "Capillaries" tie in the blue-ish color). It's a very nice tie, and was wondering if anyone else had any!

In high school my friend's dad exclusively only wore them. I remember how tacky they were and never followed suit.

I have about 50 of them but I haven't worn them in a very long time (3+ years). I acquired a bunch pretty cheaply when I worked at a department store while putting myself through undergrad about a decade ago. I was doing some cleaning in my room the other day when my daughter pulled out a box of old ties and was playing with a bunch of the Garcia ties. Some of them really caught my eye again though so I kept a couple out with the intention of wearing them again soon.

My problem was never with the design or patterns of the ties, but rather the material. I have always liked woven or heavier ties better but most of the Garcia ties are just too lightweight for my tastes.

Michigan, I personally love lighter ties myself and I think a bunch of the designs are really neat. I like artwork and stuff on ties. Definitely not for everyone, though.
