Advice

Hi

Just wondering if you could point in the right direction. I am looking for a denim with the below requirements.

-   The jeans need to accommodate ‘high stepping’ (large freedom of movement).

-       Durable, to withstand rock abrasion

-       Lightweight with a soft handle.

Is left hand twill a better feel than right hand?

I’ve been advised 4 way stretch is hard to handle in production because shrinkage problems. As an alternative I have been advised that a 2 way horizontal will do the trick. Do you think this will have enough movement?

Also what kind of construction would I need?  What ratio of weft to warp for a compact hardwearing fabrication.

Jeans by nature are hardwearing, broseph. But raw will give you the most durability. As for this high-stepping thing, either go for a fuller cut or find a fabric with elastane/spandex. Honestly, there are tons of models that will fit your criteria. Hope that helped #humoringspecialflowers
