will quality be substituted?

I would be sad to see my favourite RTW suit maker take a nose dive in quality. Would hate to see their elegant simplicity compromised in place of fashion forwardness and mass production.

seriously that story almost made me cry. to see such a well respected, classy, meticulously crafted brand and product that has been in family hands since its inception fall prey to takeover due to recession and debt is just so sad.

i really really hope they dont **** the brand up. i hope they keep its image whole and continue to produce the same high level of tailoring as always.

i hope this does not become RIP brioni. i really really hope. brioni exchance and emporio brioni is the last thing i want to see.

+ 10 to the power of a million.

I really like Gucci and all that stuff, but in smaller rather than larger doses. I really do not want to see Brioni go in the Gucci direction. I hope they still do what they do best, and that is making first class jackets and suits in a nice, elegant, and minimalistic way. If it does change for the worse and we see Brioni's with super high batwings or skinny lapels and god forbid, fusing, I reserve the right to take first dibs on all Brioni suits in my size going second hand :(

They'll close the Italian factories and move it all to China?

Another thing, will probably mean even more Brioni counterfeits. The Chinese sure love to copy anything PPR.
