So, there is a jcrew sale going on for 25% off and I'm going to be receiving 50% off on 5 items at banana republic. Both expires soon. Which would you spend 500 dollars on? I could spend around 1000 bucks at BR and get 50% off smile.gif But I really really really love jcrew stuff.

Banana Republic is for men who are grudgingly making an attempt to "dress nicely" to please their girlfriends

It is the stock, beige Toyota Corolla of clothing

But i think some pieces from Banana are decent quality smile.gif but overall jcrew is better.

Well, the workmanship is fine enough, but the quality of the materials at BR is atrocious. The cut & fit is astonishingly bad

I'm not saying J Crew is much better, but at least JC delivers on the staples and third-party stuff, which is really great (eg, alden)
