1st. I don't even play!

I assume you all are on the 360 for this... I own a PS3, but I haven't played a console FPS game somewhat seriously since Perfect Dark on the 64...

A couple of early thoughts:

There is a lot going on in every map - birds buzzing, paper flying all over the place. I can't tell if I like this or it just flat out annoys / distracts me.

The gun sound effects still suck bad. Not sure what happened. Everything else is really polished - I mean the delta ops guys are wearing oakley gloves and anon goggles for Christ sake.

I like all of the new custom-ability although for gamers new to COD its must seem pretty daunting.

Support > assault package. Surprised by the number of offensive oriented packages that are available via support.

Explosives are not as effective and most of the shotguns are worthless.

Kill confirmed is a retarded play mode - as suspected it encourages campers and makes every map a CQC battle.

Elite is a fucking disaster - still not working after 3 days. Waste of $$$.
