You'd be surprised what one can buy in some restaurants, I bought a car from a restaurant once. But then on the other hand if someone is offering you watches in a restaurant, beware.

...however I still thought they where rather expensive, compared to what I would be paying in the UK.

This particular dealer is in TST and is a brick and mortar store, so I would assume it's legit and those watches of Switzerland actually do come from Switzerland and not Mainland China or whatever. Also is an establishment like this an authorised dealer or is it grey market? It sold Rolexs, but AFAIK authorised Rolex dealers have a sign that says 'ROLEX' with the crown logo.

Actually they usually come as a side-order... along with the cigarettes and matches.
