I apologize for not having explicitly denoted, somehow, the facetious nature of my remark.

A universally accepted form of punctuation has not yet been created for that purpose, and so one must rely upon the interpretive capacities of others in such situations.

It's a shame, really.

That having been said, would snark have been appropriate even if the interest were genuine? We are, after all, poring over the components of a prince's wardrobe and the ways in which each item is maintained and laundered. It wouldn't be unheard-of for someone to appreciate such a small detail, given the context.

Well, we know he wanted to be a Kotex at one time.

I'm not sure if this is still the case.

I'm surprised they put up with "royalty." It wouldn't fly in America. We'd all be asking, "who the hell are they to deserve this?" Then again, our tax money does go to some people and we ask, "who the hell are they to deserve this?"

Neither Americans or British are known for challenging the establishment.

I wouldn't exactly trust this source, it is badly researched and quotes numbers that do not make sense. Those in the know say that he gets his suits from T&A now...not A&S anymore, MTM aswell. Therefore the price quoted for his suits is off, as is that for his shoes.
Sounds like typical republican fomenting to me. The Prince can spend what he bloody likes on his clothes. His estate brings in more money to the public purse than his outgoings. Despite all that's been said, I imagine he gets his clothes mostly on the free or the cheap as it is.

He is back with A&S now, and has been for some time!

Tell that to George III and Charles I, respectively!

Well, the royals can afford a lavish lifestyle because they own these money-making estates.

Well he's managed to turn the Duchy of Cornwall from just a lot of farms to the country's premier producer of organic biscuits. I dare say he's earned a few pennies there.
