I can only assume that if you get sleeve measurements in the 30ish range, it is measured differently than I did. Let me know how you usually do it and I'll post how much it equates to.
On another note, one can always quite easily alter a sleeve length

It's usually shoulder + shoulder to sleeves so mine is something like 8 + 24 = 32/33. Good luck with sale though

How would you describe the colors? They both look pinkish but might be a white balance issue.

They are both purple/pinkish and white, but the Cucinelli is checked and a somewhat different colour than the Borrelli. Furthermore, the Borrelli shirt is a weave which I believe is called a houndstooth in English. Overall I would say they are more purpleish than they are pinkish. Let me know if you need additional info.
