Like I said, the denim jacket was not my favorite, and I will agree with you that some Clarks DBs would have been a much better choice than the Jordans. She always recommends DBs (Yes I read her blog), so I think she was trying to mix it up and be a little more outlandish. This forum also tends to be overly critical of what I will call "outsiders" or non-Sfers. If WAYWRN is any indication, people here disagree constantly. Break vs no-break, slim vs borderline vasoconstriction, etc. However, since she is an "outsider", people find it easier to gang up and ridicule.

However, following brad's comment, I would be interested to see if someone could find a good/better female menswear blogger.

her outfits suck and look like shit. the key to dressing well in an office setting isn't piling a bunch of ugly shit ontop of what you wear to create 'visual interest', it's to have clothes that fit perfectly and are made of obviously nice materials -- you can tell the difference between loro piano wool and merona shit blend wool from 10 ft away.

hey guys I'm wearing a blazer, OCBD and tie today. how do i spice my outfit up??/ maybe have a watch with a bright orange band (accent color!!!), some green socks and a cool pair of vintage frames dangling off a lapel chain to really set myself apart!!!!

so basically it´s the "follow the herd" approach to dressing. If everybody else is wearing suits and flip flops, you wouldn´t wanna look out of place, right??
