I don't know what part of his body holds a special place for 9/11, but I can guess.

lol, what does this mean?

"My first trip back to Ground Zero in a whole decade and it's an absolutely stunning memorial. As the years have been both positive and negative experiences, it has been one of the greatest and most challenging life lessons ever learned and held an important role in making me the man I am today"

This question is pretty inevitable, but what do you guys think make a good blog? or are all blogs shitty because they're blogs?

More pictures, less words (A Treasury Of...).

If you do not know how to express yourself, type less.

God, that looks like it came out of seventeen magazine or a 13 year old's scrap book...

This is why we can't have nice things

Mister Crew looks quite good. Sticks to the basics as well as being incredibly informative.

Haha, I feel like many people in the fashion world can't really express themselves well because whatever they say end up being romanticized and their ideas become too abstract to link something concrete onto. Like when Yohji Yamamoto says that what he does as a designer is similar to creating space and space of the expression... I'm a pretty abstract thinker and I still don't really know what that means ( although it's probably because he's talking about the word space in Japanese, which has a completely different context and connections that I are not aware of ).

I don't mind written content -- and if it's about an entire brand, collection or specific event, it's great -- but the ridiculous level of embellishment that goes into writing about individual pieces is obnoxious. I don't need to know how classic and timeless it is or what it is reminiscent of. I want to know about the details of the item, how much it costs, and where I can get it. That's it.

It's also nice to read the work of someone who really knows what they're talking about. I'm not that into suits, but I actually check out Made By Hand every so often just because this guy (Jeffrey D, a poster on here, as I'm sure most people know) breaks everything down. http://tuttofattoamano.blogspot.com

I don’t know how to say “fall” much louder than this - lightly-saturated orange shirt, corduroy pants and brown boots. Maybe I’d be a little more “fall” with a navy cardigan. I was about to put on the light gray one I own, but I decided the color didn’t really go with the rest of what I was wearing. I thought that maybe it was a silly thing to worry about, but then I remembered: thoughts like those are what keep me from looking like 90% of other men.
