Herring Shoes

After doing some research, I've found that there's a way to get free shoe trees on orders over 100 dollars with an ask andy code. However, I am not terribly thrilled about spending 20 pounds on shipping, nor do I want to get hit with duties. All the info I can find re duties are about canada. Does anyone have any sort of code for Herring, and any info on shipping to the US. I see some shoes I absolutely love but dont want to end up paying 30 in shipping if I have to pay an additional god knows how much in taxes. Any info would be great.

Herring used to periodically post 10% codes on their twitter feed but I haven't seen one in a while.

At the time I ordered from them they were offering free worldwide shipping at least for Tricker's.
They were shipped via UPS and I was not hit up with customs/duty.
If you do get hit with customs and they are categorized correctly you shouldn't expect to pay more than around 9% plus whatever fees evil UPS tacks on.

Yeah but if shoes are 250 dollars, 20 pound shipping is roughly 32 dollars, 9% is just under 30 dollars. Without UPS thats already 60 dollars. I'm a student, and a pair of shoes for 250 is already a pretty big stretch, but the unjustified addition of 60 dollars makes the shoes no longer an option. I think charging money for shipping on orders over 200 on its own is ridiculous, but I understand that shoes are different.

Btw trickers still has free shipping worldwide.

free shoo tree code is HSAB...as zippyh npted, check their Twitter as they have 10-15% promo once in awhile...Note that you cannot use the Tweet promo and shoetree code simultaneously. As far as tax/duty, I have never paid anything on all (3x) my orders. But I always have to pay for shipping though. BTW, I live in Chicagoland as well...edit, try TWOCT11 for a 10% promo if it's active
