Lot of 2 MTM Samuelsohn Suits (40S)
Will Ship To: Anywhere
I bought these at a thrift store. They don't fit. I knew they wouldn't fit, but, for some reason, I bought them anyway. Now I want them out of my closet. They're MTM suits; both were made in 1998 by Harry Rosen. Tagged 40S, these are decent starter suits for someone who's looking to spend less on a suit than a tank of gas. They're for a shorter guy with a small waist and wide shoulders.
Buy the pair for $80 shipped in North America, or buy them separately for $50 shipped in North America.
One grey herringbone; one black flannel pinstripe. Both are two-button, single-vented, suits. They're fully canvassed and have a decent amount of handwork a la Rosen's Tilford line. The measurements are identical save for the fact that the grey suit has cuffed pants (1 3/4") and the black pants are uncuffed with 2.5" to add. Each suit has a minor flaw: The herringbone has a 1/4" separation of the seam of the pants where the bottom of the pocket meets the outseam (see picture). It's NOT a tear in the pants, just a loose thread. The pinstripe has a bit of discolouration on the cuff of one leg where the previous owner probably stepped in some snow (see picture).
Jacket: Chest: 21". Shoulders: 19"; Length: 29"; Top button: 19"; Sleeves: 24"; Lapels: 3.5".
Pants: Waist: 32". Outseam: 38"; inseam; 26.5 (add 2" on the black pants, 1 3/4" cuff on the herringbone pants).
