First online MTM shirt (Nialma) - please critique

This is my first test shirt from Nialma (and first online MTM shirt), Thomas Mason fabric which feels great, spread collar (it's not as spread as i'd hoped).

It's based off my best fitting shirt which is very slim but I am very skinny (120 pounds or so).

Thought i'd chuck some pics up before wash.

There's some pinching under the armholes, I think I just need to let out the armhole an inch perhaps. It's fine when standing straight but sitting at my desk it pulls under my arm.

I'm guessing that's what causing the pinching under the arms?

The chest itself feels fine.

Sorry for the bad pics, not a lot of room at my place.

Any help appreciated! Please be nice! smile.gif

good fit.
you need more then 1" in the chest.
2" should do the trick
sleeves may end up short after washing.
cuffs may also end up tight if you use commercial laundry

cant tell, but the collar may end up tight also

Thanks shirtmaven

So its the chest, and not armhole that I need to fix?

If you decide to order again, choose the cutaway collar as that would give you more of the spread that you're looking for.

How tall are you? I can see why you need MTM! Pretty decent job for a first shirt though, we have seen some real train wrecks laugh.gif

Yep, I'm 5'10" and stick thin. Thank god for online mtm! but really hope i can dial this fit in.

I just noticed in the first and second picks you can really see the fabric pulling towards the armpit on both sides.

Is it the chest or armhole I need to fix?
