If it comes with the luxurious hirsute mane, it just might cover up one's bald spot.

Or a backgammon piece, depending on the size.

Your tie looks wider than the brim of your hat. ...shog[1].gif

My dad has always worn hats be they fedoras or mexicans peasant hats. I think hats, and I mean formal hats, are a lot more common in the african american community and it's not uncommon to see folks wearing one. For that reason I've never felt selfconcious about wearing my fedora or even on special occasions my Homburg. The key is to get a hat that fits your style and face. Go to a real hat store and try on some different hats and talk to the people who run the place. They can make some recommendations. Don't be surprised if you have to pay up to $300 for a good hat. It will likely last you a lifetime. I wear a clean and blocked Stetson Stratoliner that was made in the 1940s.

I think a guy of your build would benefit from a larger brimmed hat but really you're doing it pretty good.

Hey, TJ, I have a NOS Stratoliner as part of my extensive Boeing 307 (Stratoliner) memorabilia collection. There was this HUGE shared advertising campaign between TWA and Stetson.
