Spotting a fake Kiton Tie

Hey,

Recently purchased

http://www.ebay.com/itm/260872285137?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

claiming to be a kiton tie.

It arrived recently and I must say it feels incredibly thin to the point that the back of my battisti napoli is about the same weight.

Is this most likely fake? I can post pictures soon, but if no one has ever heard a kiton being so light and unlined then I have my answer.

Gonna need some better pics of the label and stitching to be sure, but I have handled very light Kiton ties. I don't think weight should be a factor here - its the details.

Good makers can make both light and thick ties, you know. Looks legit to me.

Besides, people don't fake kiton. They fake Hermes, they fake Louis Vuitton. Gucci. Fashion houses with a much wider name recondition.

Unfortunately I only have a cell phone camera. What should I be looking at in the stitching? Along with what details should I be looking for?

Do you have a real Kiton tie handy?

Unfortunately, no. If you have detailed pictures you could post I would probably be able to put my worries to rest.

Not handy, but I could tell you if you put a few of at least the label and the small tail up.

Great to know, thanks guys. What made it clear to you?

I have a pretty lightweight Kiton tie, also confirm that it looks a lot like this one in the details...the folds, the relatively high slipstich, the label location...only diff is mine is a white label without the "Napoli" on it but that's probably just seasonal variation or something...or mine is fake lol

Also, I don't think counterfeiters bother to make 6-folds.

Looks legit. Just to add to many other things people have said, that thread loop can only be done by hand.
