Brunello Cucinelli Store in Solomeo (near Perugia)

Gentlemen,
A few tips on my recent visit to Brunello Cucinelli's store at his manufacturing facility (factory?) in Solomeo.
-We went by train. Get off a ELLERE (or ELERE) . Walk 300 meters up the hill to the Best Western. Call a cab from there (main desk of the hotel). It will be 20 Euros (one way).
-The store itself is on the second level of a beautiful building surrounded by other buildings where people are making his clothes.
-Nice selection of men's wear. With the exception of the suits and coats, I swear everything was 100 EUROS. I even found a pair of cashmere sweat pants ('demo' model, only one produced as I was told) for 100 EUROS.
- I had two screaming kids with me so I couldn't enjoy the whole experience, but I'll take 80% if you know what I mean.
-If driving, here's the address:
BC Piazza Dalla Chiesa 6
06073 Solomeo/Perugia/Italy
(39) 075 529481
Hours M-F 0900-1230 - 3:30PM-7:00PM
Sat 0900-1230.
I bought a pair of really nice cream corduroy cargo pants for - you guessed it - 100 Euros. And a nice pocket square for 30.
The cab driver referred to him (BC) as the 'pope' in that area (apparently with reference to Cucinelli's philanthropic activities).
The whole BC compound - or village - is many buildings - beautifully adorned with sweeping views. The employees mill about and walk from building to building holding garments, picking up supplies, etc. We looked in on several older Italian women sewing buttons on shirts. No one looked up.
Ciao.

Great write up. So is it essentially their factory outlet/seconds store?

I want to go to there.

You know - that's a good question. I didn't get that impression. I asked the clerk there - guy named Phillipo - if the store was for factory defects.
He said no. Warrengardner - an SF member whom I believe is based out of Turin - may know this answer. None of the items had any cut labels or red marks through the tags. If anyone knows, do tell.

So I suppose these prices were for items from previous seasons only (Fine Serie section in your pic). Were the prices for current collection as stratospheric as in other places?

OP mentioned that they have everything but suits and SCs; is there a BC factory/outlet store that does sell those items?

Woodbury Commons, but theres no sweeping vista views there. Just a glance of Il Positano, the finest macaroni joint in town.

Also at Woodbury Commons you are looking at savings between 25-50%. Occasionally they put stuff even lower towards 75-80% off, but that is not the norm for that store.

You go to shop, not for only Il Positano?

Would be a big pus if they had SCs. Hopefully a trip is planned to this area next year.
