Raffaele Caruso SP Coat sizing

I found a Caruso SP Line coat on Yoox, i normally wear caruso suits of size 40, should i go for 40 for the coat or 42 ? I tried to find caruso coat sizings on google but couldn't find anything. I have a Brunello Cucinelli coat, it's 40 and it's almost perfect for me. It has 19.5" shoulders and 22.3" chest (if the chest were 22.75", it would be really perfect) . Any advice ? (i wear coats over suit and not without suit)

Caruso sizing is all over the place. IMO, you need a minimum of 52 and quote possibly a 54. Check haberdasher for rough measurements of various Caruso sizes.

Thank you very much, in that case i would go for a 52 ( i was hesitating between 50 and 52 ! but as you say min 52 or 54, i would go for 52 and in case it won't work i will sell it here, it's a very nice navy peak lapel wool cashmere single breasted coat), i already checked haberdasher but couldn't find any info. Also i got the impression that on haberdasher there is only old stock.. i may be wrong, it's just impression.

Size up 1 is also my experience.
