I've recently purchased fabric and acquired some from an uncle (fabric circa 1970). Although I have an idea how I want the wool & linen suits to look, I am hoping I can get some constructive advice from the senior MC crowd. I prefer a DB over a SB suit, however not quite certain if the plaid wool fabric would look better as a SB suit as opposed to a DB.
Should I opt for a DB suit in the woolen plain grey, brown and navy fabric and stick with a SB suit for the plaid ones? Would rather a DB suit in the linen fabric however, open to suggestions.
Is fabric #1 from linen pant category suit worthy?
I have some ostrich left over from making wallets/passport holders and figured incorporating a little strip as the breast pocket patch will add an element of fun or individuality if you will. I was hoping to use it on linen suits #1 & 2 and wool suit #8.
What do you gentlemen reckon, is that 'trying too hard' or can I get away with it?
Pictures accompanied with suggestions also welcome.
